Invite Your Vaxxed-Up Loved Ones to Lexington with Post(Vaccine)Cards
The #1 reason people travel is to visit friends and family. And now that things are getting back to normal, there’s a million ways to invite your own loved ones to visit Lexington.
You can email them, text them, send them a direct message, and on and on...
But when’s the last time you really put your heart into a DM? And you can’t hang a text message on your refrigerator can you?
That’s why we made these…
We’re calling them Post(Vaccine)Cards. Three beautifully designed, good old-fashioned postcards for Lexingtonians to send to their vaxxed-up loved ones in search of a safe getaway. They’re totally free and we’d love it if you picked up a few to send to your out-of-town friends and family.
Here’s all you need to do to help us get Lexington tourism back in gear with Post(Vaccine) Cards:
- Pick up your cards from the VisitLEX Visitor Center in the old Lexington courthouse at 215 W Main Street, Suite 75. Or, next time you’re out and about, grab a few from some of the great local bars and restaurants we’ve partnered with.
- Choose an out-of-town friend or family member that you’d love to reunite with, and address the Post(Vaccine)Card to them in the designated spot.
- In the blank area of the Post(Vaccine)Card, write a short note to your chosen recipient about how much you miss them and all the fun things you can’t wait to do with them when they visit Lexington.
- You’re welcome to mail Post(Vaccine)Cards yourself, but if you return them to the VisitLEX Visitor Center we’ll take care of that for you free of charge.
- That’s it!
All you’ve got to do is write something so off-the-charts amazing that your friends and family start packing their bags immediately. No pressure.
But seriously. They’ll appreciate the effort even if they don’t make the trip. And so will we.
After all, with Post(Vaccine)Cards, it’s the thought that counts.
