The one, the only, the Big Blue Nation. UK athletic facilities regularly host SEC and NCAA D1 Championships, and we’re well equipped to handle the crowds that come with that.
UK is far from the only game in town, of course. Transylvania University athletic facilities host Heartland and NCAA D3 Championships, too. Their downtown location is convenient for visitors.
Rupp Arena and the Central Bank Center are proud to be the home of the UK Men’s Basketball team and the KHSAA State Basketball Boys & Girls Sweet Sixteen® Basketball Championships.
This versatile facility that has spacious grounds, grandstand seating, a one mile dirt track, and half-mile gravel track. The perfect location for Truck Rallies, Tractor Pulls, Car Shows and more!
Masterson Station Park contains a National Championship-grade cross country course, hosting championships for the USA Track and Field Association and Southeastern Conference.
The versatile Kentucky Horse Park, located just north of town, has been used for major events of all types, from the World Equestrian Games to cross country, wrestling and cheerleading competitions.
