At VisitLEX, our mission is to market and sell Lexington's Bluegrass region by driving economic impact through tourism and meetings to enhance the quality of life for Lexingtonians. Our vision is to inspire travel to our region, where genuine hospitality makes everyone feel at home.
By supporting local events and organizations, we enhance the quality of life for residents and create memorable experiences for visitors. These partnerships allow us to uplift our community, showcase our vibrant culture, and strengthen Lexington's reputation as an incredible place to live and visit.
VisitLEX offers small grants to local non-profit organizations that have a direct impact on tourism and the visitor economy. These grants are designed to support initiatives that enhance the visitor experience, promote Lexington as a travel destination, and contribute to the growth of the local tourism industry.
CRITERIA
- VisitLEX only accepts sponsorship applications from non-profit organizations.
- Requests must be submitted at least 90 days before the event or program.
- Beginning July 1, 2025, applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis and decisions will be made in July, October, January, and April.
