VisitLEX is proud to partner with VisitAble, a leader in accessibility education, to provide destination-wide accessibility training in 2026.
Offered at no cost to our hospitality partners, this program will help create more welcoming, inclusive experiences for everyone visiting the Bluegrass Region, with an optional paid certification available for businesses that choose to participate.

Why Accessibility Training Matters
Educated and trained staff are better equipped and more confident in supporting individuals of all abilities. With 26% of American adults (61 million people) living with a disability and travelers with disabilities spending more than $50 billion annually, accessible travel represents a powerful and often untapped market.
Globally, more than 1 billion people live with a disability, and 95% of travelers with disabilities say they would travel more if destinations were easier to navigate, offered clear online information, and demonstrated a commitment to accessibility through training.
