You Belong Here is a cinematic journey through food, memory, and the meaning of home — as experienced and expressed by Chef Ouita Michel. With Steve Zahn and Rick Gomez of Macaroni Art behind the lens, it's a beautiful portrayal of what we carry forward and what we leave behind for others.

You Belong Here is a praise song to a state where storytelling lives in the soil. It’s a crazy quilt of characters sharing stories, food, and memories; while sitting down to a common table. And now it's headed to Tribeca X at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC for all to see that in Kentucky, you truly do belong here.

You Belong Here was filmed in Midway, Lexington, Owensboro, Paducah, Corbin, Somerset, Louisville, Bowling Green, Maysville and Northern Kentucky, with the support of Team Kentucky, VisitLEX, FilmLEX, and local tourism partners across the state. It will be presented as a Tribeca X Panel on Monday, June 9 at 12 PM at Spring Studios, featuring a 7-minute screening followed by a panel discussion with Steve Zahn, Rick Gomez, and Chef Ouita Michel.
