Experience a Lexington New Year's Eve like no other at a “Times Square-style” celebration in the heart of downtown—both inside and outside at the Central Bank Center! Family-friendly activities start at 5 p.m. indoors with M’Power Rhythm and the Lexington Children’s Museum, and the party starts outdoors at 8 p.m. Enjoy live blues music from legendary Tee Dee Young and the soulful sounds of Honey Child. Bring the whole family for a night of fun, food trucks, and outdoor concessions!
- Family-friendly activities inside start at 5 p.m. and include 15 bounce houses, basketball courts, a magician, DJ music, concessions, a special New Year's Eve countdown for kids at 7 p.m. with Mayor Linda Gorton, and more.
- The outdoor activities will begin at 8 pm.
- Bars located both inside and outside will open at 8 pm, including a special Maker's Mark cocktail trailer.
- Concessions will open at 8 pm inside. Food truck vendors will be outside.
- DJ music will begin outside at 8 pm. Live music will begin at 9 p.m. Confetti cannons will go off at midnight.
- Restrooms will be available inside at the Rupp Arena Club as well as outdoor restrooms.
PARKING
- The parking lot on High Street will open at 5 pm with an hourly rate for the entire evening.
RIDE-SHARE
- Ride-share is highly encouraged.
- Ride-share drop-offs and pick-ups will be on Vine Street.
