This nationally known country music center began in 1939 as network radio broadcasts hosted by founder John Lair. Today, Renfro Valley is the country music capital of Kentucky, with live shows, headliner concert series, special events and festivals from March through December. Shows include traditional and contemporary country music as well as gospel.
