Dupree Nature Preserve
-
The Nature Conservancy of Kentucky has made Dupree Nature Preserve a showcase for getting people outside in order to deepen their understanding and appreciation for Kentucky's land and water. This 300 acre preserve south of Lexington boasts miles of trails along the Kentucky River and a portion of the best upland forest in the Palisades region, with chinquapin oak, white ash, beech and other trees, including the unusual Yellowood tree. It's also a great place for bird watching!
