Duncan Tavern Historic Center

323 High Street, Paris, KY 40361

This restored three-story stone tavern was built in 1788 by Major Joseph Duncan. Located in a prominent position on courthouse square, the tavern served as a gathering place for local citizens and travelers including early pioneers Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton and Michael Stoner. Take a step back in time and learn more about central Kentucky history.
