Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
-
100 miles south of Lexington, you'll find the "Niagara of the South," a 125-foot wide curtain of water that is dramatic day or night. At night during a full moon, weather permitting, visitors can see a moonbow, a phenomenon not found anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere. At the park, you can also find amusement birding, fishing, hiking, rafting and horseback riding. Restaurant on site.
