From sloths, kangaroos and camels to emu, cattle & our much-loved Parakeet Encounter, you will get to view, interact with and learn about many diverse and interesting species here at our family-owned zoo. You’ll even have the opportunity to pet and feed many of the animals!
While our animals are the stars of the show, there is more to see and do during your visit! Bring a picnic and take in the sights and sounds at one of our picnic areas. Then let the kids expend some energy on the playground, or have some fun exploring by the creek that runs through the property. While here be sure to visit the Daniel Boone historic site, situated on the very land where Daniel Booone once lived and hunted, including the cabin which was built by Boone in 1795.

What a hidden gem tucked away in a not so expected place in Kentucky! Friendly staff! Well kept and easily maneuvered grounds. Animals are healthy, well taken care of, their areas are the cleanest I’ve seen, and you’re actually able to get good views!! Our 9 year old can’t wait to go back, our 13 year old didn’t complain once, and my significant other turned into the biggest kid while visiting. lol. Prices are beyond reasonable as well. I can’t wait to watch this place grow!!
