    Housed in a Beaux Art classical style building dating to 1904, ArtsPlace is a multi-purpose arts center. Headquarters for LexArts, the city's arts and cultural council, it is also home to a number of member arts organizations. An art gallery showcases the works of Central Kentucky artists. ArtsPlace is an elegant location for meetings, receptions or parties. The Performance Hall, Board Room and Art Gallery are available for rental, with a combined standing capacity of 250 people.
  • Bell House

    This beautiful home is the centerpiece of the Bell Court historic neighborhood. The Bell House’s legacy began with its construction by prominent Lexingtonian David A. Sayre along with noted architect Thomas Lewinski in 1845. They borrowed the best from the Greek, Queen Anne and Romantic styles to design this beautiful home. This historic home is the perfect location for an occasion hosting up to 115 guests or 75 seated guests, and with its sweeping grand staircase, it’s the ideal setting for gracious indoor weddings and receptions.
  • Bella Notte

    Homemade bread with extra virgin olive oil produced exclusively for Bella Notte by the Rodolico family of Florence provides an excellent authentic touch for this Italian trattoria. Expect pasta dishes, wood-fire grilled meats, pizzas and more using fresh and local ingredients. Ask to sit under the tree! Bella Notte can host full-service, private events in beautiful dining areas. Off-site catering with excellence service. Rustic Italian menu that is always fresh, local & seasonal.
  • Blue Grass Regional Marketplace

    Specializing in meetings from 35-240 attendees indoors, but with additional outdoor options on 100 acres. The Blue Grass Regional Marketplace on the grounds of the region’s largest stockyards, can host events with an exclusive on-site caterer and the technology you need, outside the usual hotel meeting room experience.
  • Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park

    The salt springs at Blue Licks have attracted prehistoric animals, Indians, pioneers (including Daniel Boone) and 19th-century southerners seeking the rejuvenation of the therapeutic, bubbling waters. Blue Licks is widely known as the site of the last Revolutionary War battle in Kentucky in 1782. Annual re-enactment in August. This State Park has three rooms available for rental for special events, meetings and banquets. Capacity ranges from 80 to 200 classroom style; 120 to 143 for banquet style.
  • Bodley-Bullock House

    Built in 1814, this three story Kentucky Federal style home is directly across from the Hunt Morgan house in historic Gratz Park. This historic home is perfect for professional receptions and cocktail parties for up to 150 people. The perennial garden area behind the home may also be used for outdoor parties.
  • The Bryan House

    An exceptional location for special events, weddings, family gatherings, seasonal attractions, group meetings and corporate functions. From the moment one drives onto the almost 12-acre grounds, or steps foot inside of the meticulously restored historical home, guests will feel the warmth and comfort of days gone by. The Bryan House offers multiple event location areas (inside and out) that can accommodate up to 350. Outside catering is allowed.
  • Buffalo Trace Distillery

    One of America's oldest continuously operating distilleries. Home of the flagship bourbon Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the distillery is gaining international attention for its older bourbons including the Antique Bourbon Collection. Firehouse Cafe is open for lunch April through October. The Elmer T. Lee Club House, on the distillery grounds, is a log structure available for meetings and events. The Master Distiller’s Room is suitable for small functions. The Single Oak Room on the upper level of the Visitor Center is available for evening events. These spaces accommodate anywhere from 10 to 350 guests.
  • The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning

    The Carnegie Center offers reading, writing, language and computer literacy worshops, along with artistic, musical, dramatic and literary events for all ages. The Laurie S. Bottoms Gallery enriches visual literacy by featuring works by artists of all ages and abilities. No cost to view exhibitions. Formerly the downtown Lexington Public Library, this beautiful building in the center of Gratz Park has four rooms available for rental. The largest room has a capacity of 100 people.
  • The Carrick House

    The cornerstone of the Constitution Historic District, Carrick House is a Greek Revival home designed by architect Gideon Shyrock. Construction began in 1809. This beautiful Southern mansion makes a unique venue for corporate meetings, banquets, receptions and holiday events. The original house can accommodate up to 150 guests cocktail style, 50 guests for a seated function and 80 guests banquet style. The Grand Ballroom addition can accommodate 500 guests cocktail style and 400 for a banquet style event. Within walking distance of downtown hotels.

    Standing on the grounds of the Old Taylor Distillery built in 1887. Featuring a limestone castle, elaborate gazebos and sunken gardens, Castle & Key’s on-site limestone-rich water bubbles up from the ground and fills a key hole-shaped pool under the restored 19th century spring house. The Botanical Trail is open to all guests during operating hours at no charge. The trail showcases a variety of herbs and botanicals used in their gin, along with stunning trees, plants, and flowers. Several outbuildings and garden spaces have been transformed into event spaces for tastings, cocktail parties, weddings and private events.

    This downtown complex includes a hotel, retail center and convention and meeting facilities, a 17,000 square-foot ballroom and an exhibition hall, as well as Rupp Arena, home court of the University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Team. Rupp Arena may be viewed from the 2nd floor offices year-round 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. A variety of flexible meeting spaces are available at this state-of-the-art convention center accommodating up to 6,500 people for a general session or 4,000 people for a seated dinner. For even larger events, famous Rupp Arena can accommodate 23,000 total, 8,000 in chair-back seats.
  • Champions Trace Golf Club

    This beautiful private golf facility only 15 minutes from downtown Lexington has excellent facilities for private functions. Audio visual services and on site catering are available. The Arthur Hills Banquet Hall seats 250, the Champion Clubhouse Dinning room seats 100 and the Heritage Room can accommodate 40.
  • Chrisman Mill Vineyards and Winery

    This winery has the old world feel of the Tuscan valley. The beautiful tasting room overlooking the vineyards is available for private events for up to 150 people (not currently doing weddings).
  • The Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall

    Hold your special event at historic Spindletop, a classic mansion completed in 1937 that is on the National Register of Historic Places. With a $75 associate membership, the Club becomes a great option for social or business events. Eight beautiful rooms inside and multiple spaces on the grounds allow for events from 5 to 500 people. A great culinary team, top of the line meeting equipment, and a personal event coordinator on site.
  • Comedy Off Broadway

    Watch regional and national acts at one of the top comedy clubs in the U.S. The fun atmosphere at this popular Lexington comedy club makes the large room and stage ideal for corporate celebrations, fundraisers, and seasonal parties. Entertainment and drinks are available. Tables and seating will accommodate up to 248 people.
  • Copper Roux

    This event hall is inspired by all things Kentucky with a Bourbon and Equestrian theme that is perfect for a meeting, reception or cocktail party in Lexington. Equipped with full audio visual capabilities. Open floor plan. Accommodates 180 seated or more than 200 cocktail style. Full service caterer on site.

    Who doesn't love an ice cream shop that offers beer wine and spirits? Plus there's a coffee bar and a chocolate bar. Head down to the Distillery District and take advantage of this unique establishment. The Vault Room at C&B Ice Cream Lounge is the perfect place for baby showers, bridal showers, corporate meetings and birthday parties!   • Equus Run Vineyards

    Visitors can pack a picnic for the vineyard, sample wines in the tasting room, browse the gift shop, enjoy fishing or aimlessly wander the grounds. Acres of grape varieties are planted in Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Norton, Cabernet Franc, Chardonel, and Vidal Blanc. This scenic winery on the banks of the Elkhorn has a variety of creative options for small or large events. Two tent sites on the Promenade (a landscaped area with a gazebo, croquet lawns and bocce courts), a deck overlooking gardens and a large amphitheatre are all available for special functions for up to 1,000 people.

    A European-style country inn on a sustainable working estate, just minutes from downtown Lexington in the heart of Bourbon and horse country. Fairyhouse Hall's historic charm provides an old world elegant setting for celebrations and events of any scale. Available for curated intimate dinners, company retreats, weddings and grand outdoor soirees, and more.     Your friendly neighborhood co-op, featuring local, natural, organic and whole foods. The locally owned and operated café offers a super-fresh salad bar, a hot lunch and dinner buffet, made-to-order sandwiches, excellent sushi and an espresso/juice bar to boot. It’s a favorite among vegetarians and health-conscious eaters, but everybody can find something they’ll love. Also available for private events, they can provide a DVD player, mounted projector, 108" pull-down screen and speaking podium all available for use in their 13 X 22 foot meeting room. Full kitchen.     Established in 1968 by artist and jewelry designer George Headley, this unique museum features a fascinating and diverse permanent collection of decorative arts objects and fine art, including an extraordinary collection of classic dollhouses, and hosts major rotating exhibitions. A variety of spaces can be rented for special events. Rotating art exhibits add to the ambiance of this unique venue. Great for sit down dinners, meetings and lectures, the Headley-Whitney Museum can accommodate 40-200 people.

    The University of Kentucky is home to the popular Hilary J. Boone Center, a stone’s throw from Singletary Center for the Arts and W.T. Young Library. Among Lexington's premier choices for weddings, business meetings, cocktail parties and dining, the club features beautifully appointed space and staffs a special events and wedding coordinator. Members may rent any of the eight private rooms, bar, courtyard, or gated terrace. 20,000 square feet of meeting spaces can accommodate 16 to 200 guests.
  • Hopemont, The Hunt-Morgan House

    Built in 1814 by John Wesley Hunt, one of Lexington’s most prominent citizens of the time, this Federal-style house is a living museum representing the days when Lexington was known as the "Athens of the West" for its highly cultured lifestyle. The property includes a Civil War museum and a period garden. This historic home is also available for special events. The Morgan room accommodates up to 75 people. The garden is suitable for up to 150 people.

  • Keeneland Racecourse

    With its tranquil setting and lovely stone fences and buildings, this national historic landmark is one of the most genteel and beautiful racetracks in the world. Visitors are welcome year round. Live Thoroughbred racing takes place in April and October and live Thoroughbred auctions are held several times a year. On the grounds, ten unique spaces can be used separately or together for events of all kinds. Historic Keene Place mansion accommodates up to 56 seated. The Entertainment Center accommodates up to 450. For smaller events, there are many rooms in the grandstand with stunning views of the track. The Sales Arena, where millions of dollars’ worth of horses are sold every year, is suitable for conferences up to 600. On-site catering available.

Please follow social distancing protocols. ) Dedicated to man's relationship with the horse, the Kentucky Horse Park is unlike any other park in the world -- a showcase of museums, galleries, theaters, and working farm exhibits. Nearly 50 breeds of horses graze upon its 1,200 acres of lush pastures. A campground offers 260 spacious sites with grocery store/gift shop, two bathhouses, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts and a swimming pool. A variety of facilities can be rented for events. The Club Lounge, carpeted and tastefully decorated, includes a built in bar and accommodates 100 seated guests. Steeplechase Barn accommodates 450 people and is excellent for barbecues and casual parties. The Indoor Arena can seat 1,200 on permanent seating with an additional 1,800 on portable bleachers.   • Kentucky Theater

    This Romanesque-style theater built in 1922 was restored to its original grandeur in 1992. In addition to showing classic, modern and foreign films, the Kentucky Theater hosts a variety of concerts as well as the weekly taping of the syndicated radio show 'WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour'. As a special event facility, the Kentucky Theater can accommodate up to 800. The adjacent State Theater, under the same management, has a capacity of 350 and is equipped for video teleconferencing.

    Built in 1989, the Lexington Public Library is a short walk from downtown hotels and adjacent to covered parking, banks and restaurants. The Library Gallery hosts rotating art exhibits. The central rotunda features the largest ceiling clock in the world. The library also has space for special events. Conference Room A has a capacity of 100 people, classroom, theater-style or standing. Conference Room B and C hold 25. The Board Room holds 50 people conference style. The Will Farrish Theatre has a capacity of 140.
  • Lexington Children's Theatre

    Founded in 1938, Lexington Children's Theatre is one of the oldest continuously operating theatres for young people in the country. Staffed with professional actors, directors, designers and educators, LCT provides quality theatre experiences for as many as 150,000 Kentucky children annually at their home theatre and throughout the state. The main stage, learning stage, board room, and studios are available for rent on a case by case basis, accommodating from 8 to 300 people.

    This lovingly restored Lexington landmark is home stage for the 'Broadway Live' series and many local arts groups. Built in 1886, the theatre house seats about 1,000 and includes two balconies including ornate gilded box seating on the sides.

    High on a bluff overlooking the winding Kentucky River, this is a family owned farm with 30 acres of vineyards. The rolling hills based with limestone provide vital minerals and nutrients to the soil similar to those found in the Bordeaux region of France. Enjoy tastings or buy by the glass or bottle in the large, inviting lounge or on the wrap-around deck with uninhibited views of the vineyards and farm features. Lovers Leap Vineyards and Winery is a stunning setting for a wedding or special event. A new, fully enclosed 4,000 square foot pavilion serves as the main event facility, and can accommodate up to 250 people. Outside caterers are welcome.

    Originally opened in 1948, the Lyric Theatre was a thriving cultural centerpiece for Lexington's African American families hosting movies, fashion shows and big name acts like Count Basie and Ray Charles. Renovated and expanded, the facility hosts a robust schedule of performances, films and exhibits in its theater, museum, gallery and multi-purpose room. The facility boasts a 540 seat proscenium theater, museum, gallery, courtyard and multi-purpose room, all available for rental. The multi-purpose room seats 325 (250 banquet style).

  • McConnell Springs

    Originally a campsite for the first settlers in the Bluegrass, this 26-acre nature sanctuary features trails past natural springs, restored limestone fences constructed in the early 1800s, the remains of an historic grist mill and farm, and a quarry from which most of the stone for the buildings on the site was taken. Pioneers camped here named their site 'Lexington' after hearing of the first battle of the Revolutionary War. This 26 acre park provides a beautiful setting for special events of all types. The Kentucky-American Water Company Education Center provides an attractive modern setting meetings or receptions of up to 75 guests. Large windows provide a picturesque view of the flower garden, fountain and bird sanctuary. Outside catering is allowed. No alcohol.
  • Movie Tavern By Marcus

    Think outside of the board room for your next event. This theatre can accommodate groups as small as 20 and as large as 110 in a single theatre, or book multiple theatres for larger groups. This space offers full catering and bar for events, in-house AV, and comfortable reclining seats. The bar area is also available for networking events.

    This unique building with its distinctive facade and tower is a Lexington landmark. To support their charitable missions, the rent a variety of spaces. A total of 10,744 square feet of meeting space includes a ballroom (500 person capacity) with stage, a meeting room that can accommodate 100, and a dining room (150) with full kitchen: all available for special events. There is also a one acre lot with a 828 sq. ft. wooden covered stage and electrical boxes every 25 feet.

    The largest restored Shaker community, with 3,000 acres of farmland and 34 restored 19th-century buildings. Shaker Village hosts a wide variety of hands-on classes, music performances and special events and has 33 miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding (bring your own horse). Dining is available. Kentucky River excursions aboard the paddle wheeler Dixie Belle are given from April through October. The tranquil setting at this National Historic Landmark makes it an unforgettable choice for meetings or retreats. Meals are served in the Trustee's Office Dining Room or may be catered in the meeting spaces. Three historic buildings can accommodate meetings and weddings, ranging from 30-200 guests.

    This traditional country club style building is operated by Parks and Recreation. It's ideal for receptions and parties. The Tates Creek Ballroom has the capacity for 180 seated and 200 standing. Alcohol is permitted (with a special fee) and outside catering is allowed.
  • Taylor Made Event Spaces

    A legendary horse farm, Taylor Made has housed and raised numerous Thoroughbred champions. Hold your event on the legendary grounds, where Thoroughbred celebrities are breed and born, or at the associated Thoroughbred Golf Club. A variety of packages and event spaces can accommodate from 25 to 450 and provide a spectacular experience combining history, heritage and natural beauty.   • The Thoroughbred Center

    At this working Thoroughbred training facility, visitors can go behind the scenes to learn about a normal working day in the lives of Thoroughbreds and those who train and care for them. The Center typically houses more than 1,000 horses. It is also headquarters of the North American Racing Academy. Surrounding by beautiful horse farms, the Thoroughbred Center is a popular special event facility. The Lounge, decorated in classic equestrian style, holds up to 200 people seated. The Pavilion, where Thoroughbred auctions once took place, has amphitheater seating for 920 and is ideal for awards ceremonies, and seminars. The 8,000 square foot Holding Area accommodates 1000 standing (500 seated) for parties and informal barbecues. The beautifully landscaped Paddock space is perfect for a tented event.
  • Transylvania University

    "Transy," established in 1780, is the oldest college west of the Allegheny Mountains. Alumni include 50 U.S. senators; 36 governors; Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy; and Texas pioneer Stephen Austin.
  • UK Singletary Center for the Arts

    This handsome brick and glass structure serves as a bridge between the University and the community and hosts a variety of arts performances. The Center houses the University of Kentucky Art Museum, a concert hall, recital hall and a reception room. Available as a special event facility, the Concert Hall holds 1,500 while the Recital Hall has a capacity for up to 386 people. The President's Room has a standing capacity of 125, 100 for lecture seating, and 50 classroom style. (Not available for weddings.)
  • Venues of The Grand Reserve

    Located in Lexington's Historic Distillery District feature original elements from the Old Tarr Distillery. A variety of spaces include The Speakeasy, The Grand Reserve, Distillery Square, Barrel House and Garden Branch feature original elements from the Old Tarr distillery.   • West Sixth Brewing Company

    Part of the burgeoning Jefferson Street Corridor, West Sixth Brewing founders have remodeled Lexington's old Rainbow Bread factory and are now creating craft beers. The taproom features several rotating fresh brews and the beer garden makes for a great place to chat and try out a pint or flight. Tours are offered of the facility and production system. The Barrel Room is a private space at West Sixth Brewing located between the beer garden and the active brewing facility. The room is finished with clay floor tiles, subway tiles from the original Rainbo Bread Factory, reclaimed wood accents, floor to ceiling barrels with a clear view of the original brew system. The space seats 50-60 and lends a warm, relaxed feel and is great for parties and business meetings alike.
  • The West Sixth Greenroom

    This nano-brewery located in downtown Lexington on Main Street has a cozy bar, ten beer taps, a three barrel capacity production system, an outdoor seating area, and beautiful reclaimed wood tables and picnic-style tables. This welcoming space has seating for 30-40 for events, parties, and meetings in a location with a hip and vibrant downtown feel.

    This state-of-the-art stadium is home to Lexington's minor league professional baseball team, the Lexington Legends. The Legends play 70 home games each year between April and early September. Fans can enjoy a variety of promotions, entertainment and discounts at Legends’ games, including fireworks shows, giveaways, 25 cent hot dog nights, and Thirsty Thursdays with one-dollar beverages. There are great views from every seat, and fans can also watch from luxury suites or group areas such as the Pepsi Party Deck. The facility is available for birthday parties, fantasy baseball parties and off-season special events that can accommodate groups of 22 to 300.
  • Woodford Reserve Distillery

    Woodford Reserve is the only facility in the state making bourbon using the original Scottish 'pot still' method. This historic distillery has been restored with visitors in mind, and offers exhibits on the history and heritage of bourbon, tours of the facility, lunch on the porch from a Ouita Michel restaurant and a gift shop featuring Kentucky crafts and other premium gift items. The Distillery is available as a rental facility for business meetings of 10 to 200 people. Options include the Conference Center's 2,000 square foot Creekside Room or the intimate Scale House for smaller retreats. Weather permitting, the terrace is perfect for business receptions, dinners or informal gatherings. (Not available for weddings or social events.)
