Lexington, Ky. – VisitLEX earned three gold, four silver, and seven bronze awards along with the Most Innovative Award at the Kentucky Travel Industry Association (KTIA) fall conference, which was held November 13-15 in Owensboro, KY. The travel industry is the third largest in the state representing a $15 billion statewide impact and a $3.2 billion impact in Lexington and the Bluegrass Region.
The KTIA Traverse Awards honor the talent, creativity and effectiveness of its members’ marketing and public relations efforts.
VisitLEX was awarded the following:
- Most Innovative: Out of Home Advertising – Chicago campaign
- Gold: Meetings Direct Mail Box Series, Leisure Marketing Campaign and Chicago Out of Home Advertising;
- Silver: Booklet or Guide (Mural Challenge and Brochure), Event/Meeting/Conference Material (Oxford American), Print Advertising (Leisure Print) and Promotional Video (Accolade Video); and
- Bronze: Booklet or Guide (Beyond Grits), Promotional Videos (Lexington Sizzle Video, Oh Look Horses, Outdoor Sizzle Video, Print Ads to Life, Spring Social Video), Specialty Item (Holiday Gift and Card)
