Crave Food + Music Festival

CRAVE Food + Music Festival returns July 31–August 1, 2026, at Gatton Park on the Town Branch in downtown Lexington. Celebrating the very best of Kentucky food, music, bourbon, farms, makers, and community, CRAVE brings together local chefs, restaurants, artisans, musicians, and food lovers for a uniquely Kentucky experience.

The festival opens Friday evening with Distilled in Kentucky Night, inspired by the acclaimed documentary series that explores the people, places, music, and stories that shape the Commonwealth. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy live music from Kentucky artists, culinary demonstrations, artisan vendors, local food experiences, and appearances by Food Network personality Jason Smith, who returns as emcee of the CRAVE Kitchen Stage.

A highlight of the weekend will be Ouita Michel's Hoecake Hoedown, a celebration of one of Kentucky's most enduring food traditions. Festivalgoers can sample dishes from a curated lineup of local restaurants while learning from chefs, distillers, and food personalities featured in interviews hosted by Kroger's Chris Blandford.

CRAVE is designed for the entire family, with activities from Live Green Lexington, Gatton Park's Adventure Playground and Water Play Area, and a dog-friendly atmosphere complete with Republic Bank's pup photo booth. More than a festival, CRAVE is a celebration of the people, flavors, and stories that make Kentucky unique.
