Building and Unbuilding: Paintings by Douglas Miller
Miller is a professional artist whose drawings have exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the United States. Additionally, Douglas does freelance illustrations as well as private and corporate commissions. Recently, he received the prestigious Al Smith Fellowship for Visual Arts from the Kentucky Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. His artwork is in the collections of the Evansville Museum of Arts and Science, the University of Louisville, the Speed School of Engineering, and numerous private collections. His work has appeared in Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist: Drawing, and Manifest Gallery Drawing Annuals. It also has been featured on NPR’s First Watch.
