BLOOM by the French art and design collective TILT brings vibrant, oversized peony bouquets to Gatton Park this spring. Towering more than 20 feet high, the blooms reach skyward in an awe-inspiring tribute to nature. Join us for Opening Night on April 17 at 6:00 pm as the park comes to life with dynamic, color-changing light, alongside live performances, a local artisan market, a community art project, and more.
The activities below are offered exclusively on opening night, April 17.
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Hands-On Activities
Guests can explore hands-on activity stations led by Bluegrass Greensource, Living Arts & Sciences Center, Bluegrass Youth Sustainability Council, and other community partners. Create botanical prints using natural pigments, plant seeds to take home, and discover the connections between flowers, pollinators, and the environment.6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Community Art Project
Throughout the evening, ArtPLAY will lead a collaborative community art build, inviting guests to contribute petals and stems to towering, 7-foot-tall paper flowers.6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Live Performances
