Ouita Michel, one of Kentucky’s most celebrated chefs, is teaming up with other noted chefs and pitmasters for exclusive dinner at Woodford Reserve Distillery celebrating the smokey greatness of bar-be-que. Michel will be joined by Chef Joy Crump of Fredericksburg, Va. and her pitmaster Matt Deaton, along with pitmaster Chad Lindon of Kentucky. They will collectively create a five-course menu built around the theme of smoke. The evening, during Bourbon Heritage Month, will be called “Woodford Smoke” and feature Woodford Reserve cocktail pairings, along with special tours of the distillery. “This is not your grandfather’s BBQ, but a more unusual and elegant approach to the smoker,” Michel said.
