These are just a few of the many itinerary options for touring Lexington and the Bluegrass Region. 1 Night Itinerary

Day 1

1:00pm

Welcome to Lexington - Tour one of our historical homes, Ashland, Hunt-Morgan House, Mary Todd Lincoln House, or Waveland
2:30pm A photo stop at Thoroughbred Park with life-size bronze horses and jockeys.
3:00pm Stroll through the Lexington Cemetery, an incredible arboretum featuring local flora.
4:00pm Check in at hotel.
5:30pm Depart for the Kentucky Horse Park's "Old Kentucky Night". A fun-filled evening including a park tour, hayride, movie, southern buffet and square dancing.
9:30pm Return to hotel.
Day 2
7:00am Depart for Keeneland Race Course.
7:15am Early morning workout  & breakfast at the Track Kitchen. Watch Thoroughbreds workout -- track side. Your step-on guide gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the Thoroughbred racing world.
8:30am Depart Keeneland for a driving tour through the magnificent  Bluegrass countryside. Have your cameras ready!
9:15am A "sweet" stop at Old Kentucky Chocolates to see bourbon chocolates being made. Free samples!
10:00am Depart Lexington for Berea to shop at the crafts capital of Kentucky. Lunch at the Boone Tavern Hotel owned by Berea College and famous for spoon bread and student service.

2 Night Itinerary
Day 1
1:00pm Welcome to Lexington - Arrive at The Mall at Lexington Green which includes a choice of several restaurants overlooking the lake and Joseph-Beth Booksellers, named America's Best Book Store by Publisher's Weekly.
2:00pm Depart for American Saddlebred Museum & the Kentucky Horse Park.
4:00pm Check in at hotel.
6:00pm Dinner at a Lexington restaurant.
7:30pm Arrive Waveland State Historic Site for candlelight tour & desserts.
9:00pm Return to hotel.
Day 2
7:00am Depart for Keeneland Race Course.
7:15am Early morning workout  & breakfast at the Track Kitchen. Watch Thoroughbreds workout -- track side. Your step-on guide gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the Thoroughbred racing world.
9:00am Depart for Kentucky Horse Center. Tour a Thoroughbred training facility, meet and talk with an equine trainer. Visit the Tack Shop.
10:30am Depart for Shaker Village
11:30am Arrive & tour historic Shaker Village. See demonstrations of handmade Shaker crafts and music with a stop at the Gift Shop.
1:00pm Lunch at the Trustees Inn
3:00pm Return to hotel
5:30pm Depart for the Red Mile Harness Track for dinner and racing (seasonal)
10:00pm Return to hotel.
Day 3
8:30am Breakfast at hotel.
9:30am Depart Lexington for Georgetown, KY for a tour of the Toyota Manufacturing Plant.
10:30am Shop time at Factory Stores of America Outlet Mall and lunch. (optional)

1:00pm Welcome to Lexington - Lunch at deSha's Restaurant overlooking Triangle Park.
2:00pm Take the Bluegrass Driving Tour with a visit to a private horse farm.
3:00pm Check in at hotel.
4:00pm Depart for evening in Renfro Valley, KY to enjoy an old-fashioned dinner and show.
9:30pm Return to hotel.
Day 2
8:30am Breakfast at hotel.
9:30am Depart for tour of The Woodford Reserve Bourbon Distillery.
11:30am Take a scenic drive to Irish Acres Gallery of Antiques. Lunch at The Glitz Restaurant.
2:30pm Return to the hotel.
5:30pm Depart for the Kentucky Horse Park for dinner and entertainment.
9:30pm Return to hotel
Day 3
7:00am Depart for Keeneland Race Course.
7:15am Early morning workouts & breakfast at the Track Kitchen. Watch Thoroughbreds workout -- trackside. Your step-on guide gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the Thoroughbred racing world.
8:30am Depart Keeneland
9:00am A "sweet" stop at Old Kentucky Chocolates to see bourbon chocolates being made. Tasting allowed!
10:00am Depart for Headley-Whitney Museum, a unique museum featuring a Jewel Room, Shell Grotto and fine art objects for a tour and lunch.
2:00pm Tour one of our historical homes, Ashland, Hunt-Morgan House, Mary Todd Lincoln House, or Waveland
3:00pm Return to the hotel
6:30pm Dinner at one of Lexington's fine restaurants.
Day 4
8:00am Breakfast at hotel.
10:30am Depart for Frankfort, our state capital, touring the Governor's Mansion, the Floral Clock, Orlando Brown Home, and the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History.
