Food Events

Discover another aspect to Lexington's thriving culinary scene. Time your visit to coincide with one of our major annual food events. Make your trip even tastier!

Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fest:
 With over 50 breweries and 175 beers, the festival showcases the finest craft beer in the industry. Also offered are Kentucky Proud food options and live music. The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fest takes place every summer in the Lexington Convention Center on West Vine Street.

Beer Cheese Festival:
 Beer cheese spread is a Bluegrass favorite, usually defined by a blend of sharp cheddar, beer and a variety of herbs and spices. The festival celebrates all things beer cheese, including a contest to determine the best local beer cheese made by Kentuckians, as well as live music, food and shopping. Chew Series:
 Chew is a farm-to-table series celebrating Lexington neighborhoods with chef driven dinners and brunches through a locally sourced, seasonal menu and local beer, wine, and spirit pairings. Craft Beer Week:  Beer enthusiasts unite! Craft Beer Week is a 10-day span of celebrations honoring local craft beer in Lexington. Enjoy tastings and drink specials at breweries all around town in the good company of brewers and beer lovers. CRAVE Lexington:
 CRAVE is a two day food and music festival perfect for friends, families, foodies (or people that just love to eat!) and more. Jefferson Street Soiree:
 Jefferson Street Soiree is a culinary and musical festival that takes place along Jefferson Street in downtown Lexington. Lexington Burger Week:
 Buckle up. Lexington Burger Week is a weeklong festivity with over 30 participating restaurants as local chefs compete for the title of the best, most unique burger in town!
