A Gift from the Desert: The Art, History and Culture of the Arabian Horse

This breathtaking exhibition, will be presented by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation.  It will feature 410 artifacts and works of art from 26 museums and private lenders including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is included in the Kentucky Horse Park's admission,  $21 adults, $11 children.   4089 Iron Works Parkway.

The Bluegrass Palette of Andre Pater

Sunday Jun 27, 2010 - Sunday Oct 10, 2010

The Bluegrass Palette of Andre Pater will open at the Art Museum at the University of Kentucky on June 27 and run through October 10, 2010.  The exhibition will be organized around themes:  Early Work, Thoroughbreds, Jockeys, and Racing, Hounds and the Hunt, and Cattle in the Bluegrass Landscape.  General admission:  $8 and $5 for senior citizens.  Museum open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. and Friday from noon to 8 p.m.  Admission is free on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Rose Street and Euclid Ave.

Kentucky Classical Theatre Conservatory SummerFest 2010

Wednesday Jul 7, 2010 - Sunday Jul 11, 2010

A beloved summer tradition of theatre under the stars, SummerFest 2010 at the Arboretum is where Lexington and Central Kentuckians gather each July.   Come and enjoy "The Merchant of Venice" directed by Ave Lawyer.  Gates open at 7 p.m.  Performances begin at 8:45 p.m.  General admission adult is $10, child is $5.  500 Alumni Drive.

The 2010 Berea Craft Festival

Friday Jul 9, 2010 - Sunday Jul 11, 2010

There will be 100 top artists from 20 states with exciting new art work!  Strolling musicians & folkdancers all weekend.  Family friendly, with many children activities.  Enjoy the delicious regional foods!  Free shuttle service from Berea plus plenty of free parking!  Admission:  Adults $5, Seniors $4, Children 12 and under Free.  Time:  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.  Take 1-75 to Berea, KY exit 76 or 77, and follow the signs to the Berea Craft Festival.

Athens Schoolhouse Antiques Show

Creatures Great and Small Art Exhibition
