THE BOURBON LIFESTYLE

Bourbon infused anything is downright delicious and in Lexington you'd be hardpressed to find a restaurant i that doesn't include something bourbon flavored, infused or injected on the menu.

At home, bourbon flavored foods has become even easier to do with products from the Louisville based company, Bourbon Barrel Foods .

They are known for their unique bourbon barrel aged soy sauce, but the entire line of gourmet products are incredibly delicious.

Recently I tried my hand at peach jam using a tin of Bourbon Vanilla Sorghum from Bourbon Barrel Foods. The result? Utter perfection. Although peaches are now out of season, the same recipe could be used for concord grapes, pears and apples, which are all in season here in Kentucky.
