In any case, tomorrow evening, September 22, at 7:00 is a red-letter day for local and visiting foodists: Ruth Reichl will be the keynote speaker at the Kentucky Women Writers Conference.

The event, being held on the University of Kentucky campus at the Worsham Theatre, will be free and open to the public. Reichl will talk about the place of food in the past and in our world today. There will be a follow-up question-and-answer session moderated by Bluegrass Chef Extraordinaire, Ouita Michel.
