This privately owned museum located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park is a colorful and contemporary showcase of the American Saddlebred, Kentucky's native breed of horse. The American Saddlebred Museum houses the largest collection of
Saddlebred artifacts in the world including trophies, photographs, tack, artwork and a library of over 2,400 volumes used
for bloodline and geneological research.

This state-of-the-art stadium is home to Lexington's new minor league professional baseball team, the Lexington Legends, and is the premier outdoor concert venue in Central Kentucky. They may be a Single A team, but Lexington has quickly embraced their new team in a major league way and the seats are packed for home games.

Home stage for the "Broadway Live" series and many local arts groups, this lovingly restored Lexington landmark is also available for rental for special events. Built in 1886, the theatre house seats about 1,000 and includes two balconies including ornate gilded box seating on the sides.

This late-Georgian-style brick house is the site of the nation's first shrine to a First Lady. The home was restored to reflect the Todd family's residency with period furniture, family portraits and furnishings from the Todds as well as the Lincolns.

Originally a campsite for the first settlers in the Bluegrass, this 26-acre nature sanctuary features trails past natural springs, restored limestone fences originally constructed in the early 1800s, the remains of a historic grist mill and farm, and a quarry, from which most of the stone for the buildings on the site was taken. Pioneers camped here named their site "Lexington" after hearing of the first battle of the Revolutionary War.
