VisitLEX Announces New Vice President of Sales and Services

Lexington, Kentucky-VisitLEX is pleased to announce that Marci Krueger-Sidebottom has been named vice president of sales and services for the organization. She will start her new position on March 23.

In her new role, Krueger-Sidebottom will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and day to day operations of the sales and services departments for VisitLEX. In addition, she will serve as liaison to Lexington Center and the local hotel community and will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs designed to position Lexington as a premier meeting and convention destination.

"Marci has been a vital part of the hospitality industry in Lexington for the past decade, and it has been a great pleasure working with her on various initiatives over the years," said Mary Quinn Ramer, president of VisitLEX. "We are absolutely delighted she has accepted the position of vice president of sales and services and we look forward to the energy, leadership and proven experience she will bring to the position."

Krueger-Sidebottom is a 17-year veteran with Marriott International. From 2005 until 2010 she served as the director of sales and marketing at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa. Since 2010 she has led the sales efforts for Marriott International as the market sales leader for Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan. During her tenure with Marriott, Krueger-Sidebottom has attained numerous awards for her sales records and leadership.
