Inaugural Jefferson Street Soirée a Smashing Success!
Restaurants and bars along Jefferson offered food and beverage tastings, while live regional entertainment was featured on a stage between The Grey Goose and Wine + Market. Attendees danced in the street to Aly'An, a female country duo from Burgin, KY, followed by Lexington's own, Tee Dee Young.
Presented by VisitLEX's, the Jefferson Street Soiree was a Beyond Grits initiative and was timed to coincide with Keeneland's September Yearling Sale. Beyond Grits celebrates Lexington's robust and diverse food culture, showcasing traditional and cutting-edge Southern cuisine by local chefs and artisan entrepreneurs. Keeneland's September Sale is the largest Thoroughbred auction of its kind, annually attracting major buyers from across the U.S. and the world. The sale continues through September 21st.
