The Festival, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and May 25, will present four concerts featuring artists from New York's Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS).

On Saturday, an 11 a.m. performance in the 1820 Meeting House will feature works by Schubert and Kodály. An evening performance will take place at 5 p.m. in the Meadow View Barn, a restored open-aired barn overlooking the quiet countryside, and will include works by Beethoven, Strauss and Korngold.

Sunday's performances will include an 11 a.m. Meeting House performance with selections from Beethoven, Schumann and Adams, and a 5 p.m. concert in the Meadow View Barn featuring works by Beethoven and Dvorák.

2014 Festival artists include CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel, cello, and Wu Han, piano. Other Festival performers will include Gloria Chien, piano; Sean Lee, violin; Kristin Lee, violin; Richard O'Neill, viola; Yura Lee, viola; and Nicholas Canellakis, cello.

CMS is one of twelve constituents of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the largest performing arts complex in the world. Demonstrating the belief that the future of chamber music lies in engaging and expanding the audience, CMS has created programs to bring the art of chamber music to audiences from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and levels of musical knowledge.

CMS commonly receives rave reviews for their ability to brilliantly blend both classic works and innovative new pieces. As one reviewer wrote in the New York Times after a recent CMS concert, "The great joy of the society's concerts is the interaction of up-and-coming musicians with established ones."
